We went all the way to Japan to find the best beard trimming shears around. The blades are beveled Japanese Steel 4034 with a hardness rating of 55-57. To put that into perspective, high quality axes have an HRC of 53-55. You're basically trimming your manly beard with two steel blades harder than the best tactical axes.
Made of carbon, chromium and manganese, these blades have increased corrosion resistance, strength, and hardness for a long lasting cut. The ergonomic handle with finger rest gives you better control and precision while trimming.

At an overall length of 5.5" and 2.5" from the tip to fulcrum, these scissors pass TSA checked items regulation. We always keep ours in our checked baggage because these scissors are too beautiful and nice to get taken up by the agents not away of the rules!
